Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center (JTCMHC) is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Professional Coordinator to lead our outpatient clinical staff. Reporting directly to the Director of Outpatient Services, the Behavioral Health Professional Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of all phases of management, administration, and clinical policies and procedures within our outpatient services.
The incumbent will play a key role in shaping the clinical practices at JTCMHC, ensuring the fidelity of evidence-based practices, facilitating continuing education to meet the clinical needs of our community, and integrating new treatment models aligned with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) priorities.

Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field to become licensed by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology, Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
Or Must be a practitioner with a license to practice in the state issued by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology, Social Work (clinical specialty only);
Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor
Special Requirements:
Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-Placement Testing: Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.

- Leadership & Supervision: Direct and support outpatient clinical staff, providing oversight to ensure effective service delivery and adherence to clinical protocols
- Clinical Policies & Procedures: Develop, implement, and update clinical policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with current best practices and organizational goals
- Clinical Supervision Model: Design and oversee a robust clinical supervision model to ensure the fidelity of evidence-based practices, ensuring staff meet high standards of care
- Ongoing Education: Coordinate and facilitate continuing education opportunities for staff, ensuring training is tailored to the clinical needs of the community and individuals served
- Integration of New Treatment Models: Stay informed of emerging treatment models and facilitate their integration into the clinical framework, ensuring consistency with ODMHSAS priorities and community needs
- Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, supervise, and support a clinical team
- Clinical Expertise: In-depth understanding of evidence-based practices, clinical procedures, and treatment models
- Experience with Supervision: Ability to develop and oversee clinical supervision to ensure staff are trained in and implement best practices effectively

Job Type/Salary:
- Annual Base Salary is $78,000 +
- Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m
- FLSA Status: Exempt
- Evening – extra $3.75 hr
- Nights – extra $6.00 hr
- Weekends – extra $9.00 hr
- Holidays– extra $3.00 hr

- Willing to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with position, e.g., attend training etc. Must maintain a valid driver’s license; and

- Some positions may provide preference to candidates meeting Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) status as defined in Title 43A 1-103(11)
