The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring product quality and process adherence. This role will lead the quality department staff and will work collaboratively with cross functional teams from manufacturing, sales, R&D, project management as well as with outsource partners and customers. This role has a combination of strategic and tactical responsibilities.

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring product quality and process adherence. This role will lead the quality department staff and will work collaboratively with cross functional teams from manufacturing, sales, R&D, project management as well as with outsource partners and customers. This role has a combination of strategic and tactical responsibilities.
Some Of The Duties Include
- Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure organizational customer satisfaction thru all value streams, including product quality, service and delivery.
- Perform as the primary "customer facing" QA representative; including compiling and communicating corrective action response and issue resolution.
- Implement and execute methods to inspect, test and ensure products adhere to quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Work with sales and R&D to identify and implement 'new product' test requirements
- Process/Quality Assurance
- Work with functional teams to have appropriate process documentation to meet customer requirements.
- Ensure proper sampling plans (FAIs, in-process inspections, out of box audits, etc.) and other product quality documentation is in place
- Perform on the floor process and product audits.
- Continuous Improvement
- Lead RCA efforts (both strategically as well as tactically).
- Enhance our continuous improvement culture (Lean and Six Sigma) and outcomes.
- Build and implement a CI strategy
- Regulatory and External Audits
- Maintain ISO 9001:2015 system as well as assist with G7, FSC, SFI, AIB, SGP, etc
- Lead efforts into new accreditations
- Key Performance Measures
- Analyze performance data and present results and recommendations for improvement to senior leadership
- Technical degree (2 or 4 year) and 3+ years of Quality Assurance Leadership roles or 6+ years in Quality Assurance Leadership Roles.
- Working knowledge in roll to roll converting, label print production, RFID technology as it relates to labels and cartons, folding carton packaging production, or conductive ink print manufacturing.
- Proficiency with basic math skills. Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong root cause analysis and data analysis capabilities.
- Working knowledge of quality management systems (ISO, etc.) as well as tools such as SPC, Cpk, PPAP.
- Strong computer skills; specifically Microsoft Excel and Minitab
- Must have leadership and customer facing experience.
