Position Summary:

The Site Supervisor is a critical leadership position responsible for managing the total work effort and performance of a team of administrative personnel. This role in support of the U.S. Department of Energy requires strong leadership, proactive problem-solving, and customer service to drive contract success, employee engagement, and client satisfaction.


Essential Functions:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a multi-location team of administrative and facility professionals
  • Provide general administrative support to Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) stakeholders including but not limited to booking travel reservations, processing travel vouchers, automated time and attendance support, preparing and routing documents, entering purchase requisitions, providing event support, managing schedules and document libraries.
  • Monitor and communicate contract performance consistently with WAPA stakeholders
  • Adhere to Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP)
  • Motivate team members and create a culture of excellence, accountability, and trust
  • Proactively learn each employee’s job function and provide backfill coverage during PTO or absences
  • Support development and implementation of detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each team role
  • Provide timely, accurate, and strategic status reports
  • Ensure all activities meet contract security requirements and federal regulations


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of management or supervisory experience, preferably across multi-site teams
  • Proven ability to recruit, coach, motivate, and lead high-performing teams
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to produce timely, accurate reports tailored to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Superior customer service, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills
