The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounts payable department, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports. The supervisor will also play a key role in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable function.

What You Will Do:
- Supervise and lead a team of accounts payable clerks, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, from invoice receipt to payment processing.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee weekly and ad-hoc payment runs.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and vendor master data.
- Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and internal controls.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment-related issues and ensure smooth financial operations.
- Prepare accounts payable reports and analyses as required.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement within the accounts payable function.

What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred
- 3-5 years of progressive accounts payable experience
- 1+ years of leadership experience in a supervisory or lead role
- Experience in AP automation systems (I.e. Coupa, Ariba etc.) preferred
- Experience in system implementation preferred
- (Or commensurate mix of experience and education)
- Strong understanding of accounts payable principles, general ledger, and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
