Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the detailed evaluation, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of both small and large-scale information systems to support the efficient operations of St. Jude Medical. This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep expertise in SAP platforms and integrations.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts and project leads to ensure accurate planning and execution of design and development tasks.
• Meet with internal customers to troubleshoot issues, provide resolutions, and gather enhancement requirements.
• Translate business requirements into detailed design and developer specifications, in line with software development standards.
• Design, develop, and implement custom SAP applications.
• Customize and implement third-party off-the-shelf applications as needed.
• Serve as a key technical resource in projects, independently completing complex development assignments.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and internal company policies and procedures.
• Maintain strong, cooperative communication with cross-functional teams, including employees, contractors, and vendors.
• Stay current with new technologies and rapidly adapt to evolving business needs.
• Contribute as both an individual and team member in a fast-paced, matrixed, and geographically diverse environment.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of application development and support experience, with strong background in application integration and database development.
• 6+ years of development experience on the SAP platform.
• 4+ years of development experience with SAP ECC, CRM, GTS, SCM, and S/4HANA platforms.
• Participation in at least three full SAP implementations.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SAP ECC modules such as SD, MM, FI, and QM.
• Extensive experience with SAP integration tools including PO/CPI (Graphical Mapping, Groovy Script, ABAP Mapping, ALE, EDI, IDOCs, BPM, Web Services, etc.).
• Proficient in SAP development tools such as ABAP Workbench, Web Dynpro, BSP, ALV, Smart forms, BDC, User Exits, RFCs, and Workflow.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Middleware applications – PO, CPI, and IS.
• Hands-on development experience with CRM, GTS, SCM, and APO applications.
• Java and SAP UI5 development experience.
• Experience working in a large, cross-divisional enterprise environment.
