Join a high-impact project within the Manufacturing Sciences, Analytics, and Technology (MSAT) team for a major biopharmaceutical client. The role focuses on enabling data-driven decisions in biologics manufacturing by designing and deploying robust data pipelines and contextualized systems integrated with key manufacturing platforms such as MES, LIMS, and PI Historian.

Job Description
Project Context
Join a high-impact project within the Manufacturing Sciences, Analytics, and Technology (MSAT) team for a major biopharmaceutical client. The role focuses on enabling data-driven decisions in biologics manufacturing by designing and deploying robust data pipelines and contextualized systems integrated with key manufacturing platforms such as MES, LIMS, and PI Historian.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with MSAT, Automation, Digital, and Quality teams to define data analytics needs.
- Map and integrate data from manufacturing systems (MES, PI Historian, LIMS) into the OneAI cloud platform.
- Design and develop contextualized data pipelines to deliver ready-to-use datasets for analytics and process monitoring.
- Build and maintain dashboards to support process robustness and yield optimization.
- Contribute to the deployment of advanced analytics and ML models for performance improvement.
- Ensure data quality, compliance, and governance in a GxP-regulated environment.
- Document data architecture, pipeline configurations, and mappings.
- Data Engineering: Snowflake, MS SQL Server, Dataiku, Python, GitHub
- Manufacturing Systems: Werum PAS-X (MES), PI Historian (OSIsoft), LIMS
- Visualization: JMP, Dataiku Dashboards, Power BI (a plus)
- Cloud & Dev Tools: Azure, Git, Agile/Scrum, JIRA/Confluence
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical/Biotech Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data pipeline development, ideally in GxP or life sciences manufacturing
- Proven experience integrating shop floor/industrial data (MES, LIMS, Historian)
- Experience contextualizing process parameters and modeling data in pharma or biotech settings
- Familiarity with biopharma manufacturing processes and tech transfer
- Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills
- Experience in a GMP-regulated biotech/pharma environment
- Exposure to AI/ML applications for process analytics
