Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to Plant Maintenance and Operations by performing a wide variety of highly skilled, technical and confidential duties; to facilitate department and hospital strategic goals; generating reports and tracking compliance according to the director's requirements; and providing administrative and clerical support to department Leaders.

Licensure and Certification
- N/A
- High School Diploma (GED) required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Two to three years' experience performing administrative and secretarial support to members of healthcare management team
- Ability to exercise good judgment
- Professional demeanor
- Ability to prioritize management of activities, and provide continuity in internal/external communications
- Strong interpersonal communication
- Ability to write and communicate effectively
- Ability to type efficiently and with minimal error
- Proficient in PC software including but not limited to Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Word, and Excel)
- Frequent sitting and standing/walking with frequent position change.
- Continuous use of bilateral upper extremities in fine motor activities requiring fingering, grasping, and forward reaching between waist and chest level
- Occasional/intermittent reaching at or above shoulder level.
- Occasional/intermittent bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling, twisting, and climbing.
- Occasional/intermittent lifting and carrying objects/equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Continuous use of near vision, hearing and verbal communication skills in handling telephone calls, interacting with customers and co-workers and performing job duties.
