Responsibilities Level 1:
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment, both electrical and mechanical
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines in accordance with schedule
- Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures with applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and requirements
- Reviews daily maintenance schedule to ensure all jobs are complete in a timely manner, with minimal interference with production
- Provide assistance and support for emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance of production equipment during machine service
- Maintain good housekeeping in all areas
- Handle company equipment with care
- Responds quickly to inquiries and follows up as needed
- Is available to work overtime when required, including weekends
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Production Support Manager
- Perform responsibilities associated with a Level 1 Maintenance Technician as well as the following:
- Inspects condition of equipment and components for proper maintenance under warranty agreements.
- Assists with identifying equipment deficiencies and helps to prevent further recurrences.
- Identifies faulty equipment and acquires parts and requests parts and equipment to complete repairs.
- Ability to use electrical/electronic diagnostic equipment such as multi-meters, infrared scanning equipment and other tools as necessary for servicing equipment.
