What You’ll Do
- Provide expert guidance and support to store leaders on all HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with company values and promotes teammate engagement.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to implement enterprise-wide initiatives related to talent development, compensation, benefits, and DEI.
- Analyze HR data and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive positive operational impact.
- Ensure compliance with California labor laws and company policies.
- Lead change management efforts and initiatives that enhance teammate engagement and retention.
- Oversee headcount management and partner with the Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) team to ensure effective staffing across the region.
- Experience supporting multi-unit/location retail environments, preferably high-volume settings.
- Strong working knowledge of State and Federal employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel regionally up to 50% as needed.
- Consistent work history demonstrating progressive responsibility.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP).
- Experience with union environments and labor relations.
