We are hiring an Operations Analyst immediately to join our team in Longmont, CO. This role requires in-office work four days a week with one work from home day per week.

The Operations Analyst team is responsible for monitoring and supporting collection and production requirements for core Maxar programs. The Operations Analyst role is to aid in driving standard operating and mitigation processes to meet program requirements. Their responsibilities will include assembling operational performance data, assessing performance outcomes and support short/long term strategies.

What You Will Do
The Operations Analyst team is responsible for monitoring and supporting collection and production requirements for core Maxar programs. The Operations Analyst role is to aid in driving standard operating and mitigation processes to meet program requirements. Their responsibilities will include assembling operational performance data, assessing performance outcomes and support short/long term strategies.
- Monitor changes in global collection demands and capacity utilization
- Monitor collection and production performance in support of Maxar business requirements
- Detect operational challenges and potential issues. Develop mitigation strategies with key stakeholders.
- Create visualization and status reports to depict performance
- Support specialized requirements for live demonstrations and tasking requirements
- Manage internal tasking decks in support of 2D/3D product strategy and revenue enablement
- Orchestrate daily operations with cross-functional teams to ensure product fulfillment from satellite collection, imagery processing, and delivery.
- Facilitate performance-related communication with team members, cross-departmental staff, and customers regarding status, milestones, issues, and resolutions.
- Escalate operational issues as needed with team management and technical support teams.
- Perform order requirement assessments to determine collection feasibility and access visibility using various in-house tools.
- Provide support outside of regular business hour shifts to support a 24/7 Operations environment, as required.
- Manage deadlines and prioritize workloads.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Previous operations experience in satellite collection and imagery production
- Experience working with GIS software
- Familiarity with orbital mechanics, remote sensing products and applications
- 1+ year of experience scripting and database knowledge
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux environments

- The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $59,000.00 - $99,000.00 annually.
