Position Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator supports the efforts of the marketing team to carry out marketing campaigns, activities and events. They assist the marketing team with administrative functions, research market trends, compile reports about internal and external customer needs, assist in the creation of marketing campaign content such as graphics, blog posts or social media posts, and assist in executing marketing events for Taco.

  • Effective coordination of marketing functions ensuring on-time delivery of marketing materials and communications.
  • Minimal rework due to errors
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Streamlines marketing requests from across the organization and from external vendors. Coordinates the request intake process so that they are handled by the proper team member.
  • Coordinates numerous time-sensitive marketing projects simultaneously, including marketing projects across North America, domestic and overseas trade shows, etc.
  • Generates reports, views marketing metrics, extracts data and shares this information with other team members in project updates.
  • Provides information on previous campaigns, projects and timelines overseen and implemented in order to demonstrate overall effectiveness.
  • Proofreads communication materials and presentations for accuracy and consistency.
  • Consolidates materials and issues reports covering advertising, public relations, and website performance.
  • Coordinates and executes periodic projects including customer catalog mailings, grassroots promotion, sponsorship, etc.
  • Assists in creation of marketing content such as graphics, blog posts and social media as needed.
  • Screens, vets and answers sponsorship requests.
  • Organizes and maintains digital asset management system.
  • Delivers effective and efficient presentations to the internal marketing team regarding relevant marketing data.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associates degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field
  • Two (2) + years of experience in a graphic design, marketing, or advertising role
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office Suites
  • Familiarity with project management software a plus
  • Experience in web page development or graphic design a plus
  • Experience in managing and leading Search Engine Optimization / Search Engine Marketing (SEO/SEM), display advertising, social media, email, and marketing database campaigns
  • Strong project management and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate clearly with internal stakeholders as well as external vendors, contractors, and freelancers.
  • Ability to think creatively to achieve objectives
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for representing organizations in public, during media events and product launches, product demonstrations and while participating at trade shows.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • Working knowledge of Content Management System (CMS)

Work Environment

This position works primarily in an office environment using computers and technology. Verbal and auditory capability are required. Occasional exposure in production plant where large equipment and noise are prevalent. Safety gear is required in these areas.

This position may work from home up to 1X/week if performance is in good standing.

This position has no direct reports.
