Job Summary
The primary duties of the Radiology Technologist include, but are not limited to:
- Provides information to guide procedures by operating radiological equipment to produce radiographs.
- Operates fluoroscope for physician during procedures.
- Complies with proper radiation safety guidelines.
- Appropriately documents fluoroscopy times in appropriate areas in a timely manner.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team and notifies the appropriate healthcare personnel of changes during procedures.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Prepares patients for radiological procedures by positioning patient, moving equipment into specified position, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
- Practices appropriate aseptic technique when setting up procedure tray, drawing up medications, draping patient, and prepping patient.
- Maintains radiological and procedure supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.
- Scrubs during surgical procedures.
- Completes sterile processing of surgical tools.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Vocational/Technical or Associate’s degree.
- Graduate of an accredited ARRT program.
- ARRT certification.
- BLS certification for a health care provider through the American Heart Association.
- Able to be detail oriented while multi-tasking duties and managing priorities.
- Knowledgeable of radiation safety guidelines.
- Possesses organizational skills with focus on tracking patient care and improving patient flow.
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment and efficiently handle daily fluctuation of patient volume.
- Able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team with the ability to be self-motivated.
- Skilled to follow oral and written instructions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an ambulatory surgery center setting located in Burnsville. This position may require occasional floating to our other surgery centers located in Edina and Maplewood. This position is 100% in-office given the nature of the responsibilities.

The employee must be able to lift or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Compensation & Work Schedule
- Full-time: 40 hours/week.
- Non-Exempt.
- Day Shift: Monday-Friday; start times vary between 6:30AM-7:30AM.
- No evenings or weekends.

- $5000 Sign-On Bonus - $2500 on first paycheck and $2500 at 12 months.
