About The Role

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented As-Built Analyst to join our team. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our pipeline asset data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review construction and engineering records, including as-built records, completion reports, and pipe coating inspection reports, for gas and/or liquids pipeline construction and maintenance.
  • Perform comparative analysis of related records to identify potential data anomalies and resolve critical data discrepancies through additional research.
  • Assist in developing and executing ongoing quality assurance/quality control protocols.
  • Follow standard work processes, document results, update records per protocol, and communicate progress to team leads.
  • Ensure traceable, verifiable, complete (TVC) documentation to GIS and maintain the integrity of geographic information databases supporting pipeline assets.
  • Create, maintain, and update GIS data in accordance with the GIS data model and internal policies.
  • Perform technical and support functions related to the day-to-day maintenance of GIS data, requiring a substantial understanding of spatial data principles and digital data repositories.
  • Ensure timely submission of operational data performed during the course of work.
  • Update Enbridge’s GIS and maintain the integrity of geographic information databases supporting contiguous pipeline assets.
  • Perform comparative analysis of ILI to GIS centerline coordinates to update pipeline location.

Requirements

  • Education: 4-year degree preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of oil and gas experience, with a preference for pipeline construction or design experience. Experience working with and analyzing large volumes of pipeline construction and maintenance data.

Qualifications

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable, with the ability to think critically.
  • Ability to work both individually and within a team structure.
  • Adaptability to learn new procedures and protocols quickly and apply them effectively.
  • Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback related to work performance and processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of pipeline facilities (e.g., compressor stations, meter stations, main line valve assemblies) is desired.
  • Moderate skill level in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Proficiency in CAD tools and the ESRI platform.

Please note: Successful applicants will be employees of Raise, working at Enbridge facilities with both Enbridge and contract employees.
