Job Overview
AMW Contracting - Commercial Roofing Division is seeking a skilled Field Manager to oversee field construction operations across Central Florida. This leadership role is responsible for managing field teams, coordinating logistics, ensuring quality control, and upholding strict safety standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in building and roofing construction and repairs, exceptional leadership skills, and proven operational management experience.
Working closely with Project Managers, you will be instrumental in onboarding and training staff, overseeing equipment needs, resolving client issues, and ensuring that all projects are executed to the highest level of professionalism and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage field teams to ensure projects meet client specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate project logistics including scheduling, equipment allocation, and transportation.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of work.
- Develop, enforce, and oversee safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and department coordinators for seamless project execution.
- Train and mentor field staff on construction techniques, repair procedures, safety practices, and equipment usage.
- Monitor and manage field equipment inventory, ensuring tools are maintained and functional.
- Serve as the primary liaison with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and resolving concerns promptly.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facility and construction work, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate field crews.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Proficiency or willingness to learn construction software and data management tools.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work nights and travel Monday-Friday as required.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for project oversight.
