PALMETTO CARE CENTER , A SKILLED NURSING FACILITY LOCATED IN HIALEAH, FLORIDA, IS SEEKING AN ENTHUSIASTIC PERSON WITH A CAN-DO ATTITUDE TO JOIN OUR TEAM.
We are looking for a FULL TIME CENTRAL SUPPLY COORDINATOR /PURCHASING / DRIVER to join our team!
SHIFT: Monday - Friday

We are looking for a FULL TIME CENTRAL SUPPLY COORDINATOR /PURCHASING / DRIVER to join our team!
SHIFT: Monday - Friday
Responsibilities of Driver:
- Driving the company vehicle to resident activities and doctor's appointments.
- Assisting residents in and out of vehicle.
- Inspecting the company vehicle before and after trips.
- After all return trips are complete, return vehicle to parking lot, makes a final inspection, locks vehicle, and returns keys.
- Valid state driver's license.
- 1-2 years experience.
- Experience working with residents is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills are a must!
Responsibilities of the Central Supply Coordinator:
- Ensure various departments are properly charged with supplies they have received for cost allocation purposes if applicable.
- Fill requisitions from departments for routine supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensure all medical supply orders are confirmed with a purchase order in ordering system.
- Ensure all orders are properly prepared, ordered, signed, and submitted as required per supply ordering system.
- Verify all ordered items are delivered, itemized, and stored in designated supply closet(s).
- Arrange, inventory and label each supply closet according to nursing needs. Maintain each supply closet in clean and orderly manner.
- At least 1 year of supply management/distribution is highly preferred.
- Must have previous skilled nursing facility billing experience with Medicare, Medicaid, & Managed care.
- Must be fluent in Excel and Word
- 6 months to 1 year of previous administrative experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish & English
- Background check - Drug screening and Level II [AHCA]
