America’s Favorite Jeweler, Ross-Simons is seeking a Photo Studio Coordinator to join our dynamic Creative Team in Cranston, RI. This is a critical, high-impact role that serves as the operational backbone of our in-house studio, supporting the production of thousands of jewelry images and videos annually across digital, print, and marketing platforms.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and can expertly manage complex workflows, juggle multiple priorities, and maintain laser-sharp attention to detail under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily movement and tracking of thousands of fine jewelry SKUs across multiple production streams, including lifestyle, web, and retouching studios.
- Coordinate all aspects of jewelry prep and flow for a variety of creative projects, including:
- Product photography (on-figure and off-figure)
- Editorial and lifestyle shoots
- Video content production
- Develop and maintain detailed shot lists, production schedules, and workflow trackers to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Partner closely with Creative, Merchandising, Photography, Gemology, and Distribution teams to streamline processes and resolve bottlenecks.
- Track all jewelry assets meticulously through physical and digital tagging systems to ensure 100% sample accountability.
- Monitor daily studio progress and adjust in real-time to meet shifting priorities and aggressive production deadlines.
- Maintain highly organized documentation and support digital asset management practices.
- Assist with on-set logistics and special campaigns as needed — jumping in wherever needed to ensure seamless execution.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in studio coordination, creative operations, or high-volume production environment.
- Extreme attention to detail and vigilant tracking skills — you notice the small things others miss.
- Proven ability to multi-task, problem-solve in real time, and stay calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-first attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
- Experience working with inventory, creative workflows, or in the jewelry/fashion/retail industry is highly desirable.
- A high level of professional maturity and accountability — you own your work from start to finish.
