This role involves supporting plasma center operations as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse).
- Responsibilities include determining donor eligibility, managing adverse events, reviewing lab results, and notifying donors of unsuitable tests.
- You will work under the guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and supporting environmental, health, and safety protocols.
- Key duties also involve evaluating donor reactions, handling medical emergencies, supporting vaccination programs, and managing employee incidents.
- Requirements include a nursing or equivalent diploma, state licensure as LPN or LVN, CPR/AED certification, experience in a clinical setting, and training in IV therapy.
