Pharmacist

Performs pharmacist duties according to state, federal, and organizational policies. Prepares and dispenses medications, assesses patient clinical status across all age groups, provides drug information to medical teams, and educates patients. Requires current unencumbered Oregon pharmacist licensure; hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Certifications in BLS and immunization required within specified timeframes. Knowledge of medication management, specialty disease states, and regulatory compliance is essential. Strong communication, computer literacy, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are necessary. Physical demands include lifting, reaching, standing, and manual dexterity. Experience in specialty pharmacy and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are advantageous. The role emphasizes patient care, collaboration, and adherence to safety standards. Pre-employment drug screening and ongoing education are required.
