Summary
- The qualified nurse practices independently within a similar clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
- Demonstrates competence in leadership of self, others, or leaders, adhering to professional standards.
- Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for assigned patients.
- Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs appropriately.
- Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors effects, and documents care accurately.
- Assesses learning needs and educates patients, families, or caregivers, identifying issues and resources.
- Requires a BSN (preferred), at least 1 year of relevant experience (preferred), BLS certification, and an RN license (state or compact).
- Works full-time from 7 AM to 7 PM in a clinical setting.
