The role of the Corporate Director of Outpatient Services is to oversee operations across all locations. This role demands an active clinical license in Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on achieving predefined financial and clinical goals with the PHP/IOP Service lines. The Corporate Director of Outpatient Services possess a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care. Position will travel between 50-75% of the time.
Essential Functions:
Educational / Experience Requirements:
Subject to many interruptions. Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries. This position can be high paced and stressful; must be able to cope mentally and physically to the atmosphere. Work requires spending approximately 90% or more of the time inside a building that offers protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
Essential Functions:
- Referral Management: Assess patterns of timely screening and scheduling of referrals.
- Attendance Oversight: Conduct reviews of patient attendance, follow up on missed sessions, and ensure proactive communication with patients.
- Admissions and Patient Engagement: Oversee the patterns of the admission process, including the completion of psychosocial and psychological evaluations. Assess culture of patient engagement and the strategies used to measure retention. Foster a welcoming environment that encourages patient engagement from the first day.
- Staff Coordination: Assess use of daily meetings with staff to discuss patient referrals, admissions, and overall patient roster status, maintaining a sense of urgency in patient care and operations.
- Achieve outpatient financial targets through group sessions. Work with sites to add additional services lines/revenue to achieve financial goals.
Educational / Experience Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Nursing or related field with active licensure.
- 10+ years of supervisory experience in psychiatric and substance abuse treatment
- Ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team, manage multiple locations, and achieve operational goals.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
