Security Operations Center Analyst

Soni's client is seeking a highly skilled Senior SOC Analyst to support a customer undergoing major organizational changes, including rapid growth and significant staff turnover. This is a hands-on role focused on tackling a substantial backlog of security tickets and responding to new alerts in a dynamic, complex environment. We are looking for someone who is resourceful, investigative, and capable of working with minimal direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage and investigate both backlog and incoming security alerts
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across a wide range of systems and technologies
- Independently navigate and understand unfamiliar tools and environments
- Engage directly with the customer to gather context and clarify issues
- Adapt quickly to a changing infrastructure with limited formal guidance
- Create structure and process where documentation is lacking
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse, multi-vendor team
Required Qualifications:
- Senior-level SOC experience (Tier 2 or Tier 3)
- Strong track record of independent problem-solving in complex environments
- Hands-on experience managing tickets across 20+ tools and platforms
- Quick learner with the ability to investigate and master unfamiliar technologies
- Excellent communication skills, including experience in customer-facing roles
Compensation: $120 to $150 an hour
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
