The Clinical Nurse in the General Surgery/Trauma-B3 department provides compassionate patient care, collaborates with the team to develop and implement care plans, and ensures safe administration of medications and treatments.
- Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing procedures, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, and providing emergency care.
- Qualifications required are a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- This role involves adhering to confidentiality and information security policies to protect sensitive health information.
