As a pivotal member of the dealership team, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Overseeing and maintaining inventory of pre-owned vehicles across the dealership.
- Conducting daily reviews of outbound email communications and inbound sales leads via DealerSocket.
- Establishing and executing appraisal standards for incoming vehicle acquisitions.
- Staying attuned to market conditions and exploring innovative sourcing strategies.
- Engaging in weekly trade-in discussions with dealership management.
- Assisting the sales team in closing deals and building lasting customer relationships.
- Drawing on at least 3 years of managing automotive sales experience, with a proven history of hitting targets and profitability.
- Utilizing industry software, CRM platforms, and inventory tools like V-Auto to support operations.
- Setting daily goals for unit sales and gross profit margins to guide performance.
- Leading sales meetings, providing coaching, and delivering training to the sales force.
- Conducting daily lot walks to ensure front-line readiness: verifying year stickers, plate frames, vehicle alignment, and managing wholesale units.
- Approving sales contracts and supporting final deal closures.
- Collaborating with sales staff on advertising and promotional strategies.
- Preparing accurate sales forecasts for daily operational oversight.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in used vehicle sales, with comprehensive knowledge across vehicle types.
- At least 3 years of dealership-level inventory management experience.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
- Dependable and professional, with a polished appearance and confident business presence.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service through expertise, trust-building, and satisfaction-driven interactions.
- Personable, energetic, and reliable, with a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Receptive to feedback and committed to ongoing growth and performance improvement.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and professional workspace with a keen attention to detail.
