Key Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints to plan plumbing installations.
- Install and layout drain, waste, and venting (DWV) systems.
- Perform underground, rough-in, and finish plumbing to meet or exceed code requirements.
- Assemble, install, and maintain pipes, fittings, and fixtures of water, heating, and drainage systems.
- Inspect systems, identify issues, and perform necessary repairs.
- Ensure compliance with Michigan plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools.
- Licenses/Certifications: Michigan Journeyman Plumbing License (required).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience (residential and/or commercial).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Proficient in DWV system installation.
- Skilled in underground, rough, and finish plumbing work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Competitive hourly pay: $35 - $45+ per hour.
