Job Summary:

Lucid Motors is leading the future in luxury electric vehicles, aiming to elevate the human experience through innovative design and technology. They are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a solid background in AWS services and experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines to contribute to their mission of creating a sustainable future.


Responsibilities:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, ECR, KMS, S3, and VPC.

• Experience in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.

• Proficient in defining and implementing security best practices for infrastructure and applications.

• Strong understanding of version control systems like Git and Bitbucket.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitOps, Kustomize, Helm, ArgoCD, etc.).

• Setup and maintenance of security and quality tools (e.g., SonarQube, Coverity).

• Experience with embedded Linux builds.

• Knowledge of build tools such as Yocto, Bitbake, Makefile, etc.

• Strong programming experience with one or more scripting languages.

• Experience in automating release and build processes.

• Experience with on-premises to cloud migration.

• Strong communication skills and an ownership mindset.


Qualifications:


Required:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or another technical field

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, ECR, KMS, S3, and VPC.

• Experience in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.

• Proficient in defining and implementing security best practices for infrastructure and applications.

• Strong understanding of version control systems like Git and Bitbucket.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitOps, Kustomize, Helm, ArgoCD, etc.).

• Setup and maintenance of security and quality tools (e.g., SonarQube, Coverity).

Preferred:

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

• Application observability, including logging, monitoring, and alerting.

• Familiarity with path-to-production workflows.

• Knowledge of DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics and practices.
