Job Description
The UDP Coordinator will support the daily operations of Traffic Control and Utility Locating services throughout Kentucky and Tennessee. This role focuses on coordinating personnel, resources, and communication to ensure smooth execution of services and high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and service excellence.

Job Description
The UDP Coordinator will support the daily operations of Traffic Control and Utility Locating services throughout Kentucky and Tennessee. This role focuses on coordinating personnel, resources, and communication to ensure smooth execution of services and high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety Coordination: Support compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations. Assist with safety documentation and help facilitate regular safety checks and follow-ups.
- Daily Operations Support: Coordinate the scheduling and deployment of personnel, equipment, and resources for traffic control and locating services. Ensure field teams have what they need to perform their work effectively.
- Project Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of traffic control plans and locate ticket responses. Monitor timelines and ticket requirements to ensure timely completion.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with field teams and supervisors to support training efforts, share updates, and maintain a collaborative work environment.
- Customer Communication: Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries and service requests. Help resolve issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Resource Tracking: Help monitor equipment and material usage. Coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure resources are available and properly allocated.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, service metrics, and operational updates. Assist with compiling reports and identifying areas for improvement.
- Problem-Solving: Support resolution of operational challenges by coordinating with relevant teams and ensuring timely communication and follow-through.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or relevant certifications in traffic control or utility locating are a plus.
- Experience: Experience in traffic control, utility locating, or a related field preferred. Prior coordination or administrative experience is beneficial.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Basic understanding of traffic control and locating procedures

- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Proficiency in basic reporting and documentation tools
