  • Flexible Schedule! Take charge of your own schedule while collaborating with supervisors to ensure effective program delivery. (Some weekend hours as needed with flex day options!)

  • Engaging Activities! Implement interventions based on individual interests in various settings, ensuring adaptations for success.
  • Track Progress! Evaluate individual's advancements toward their recreational therapy goals and document your observations comprehensively.
  • Team Collaboration! Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and actively contribute to the person-centered planning process.

Location: Multiple Locations throughout Greater Richmond

Schedule: Monday-Friday Varies (some weekend hours as needed with flex day options!)

Hourly Compensation: $21.52

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy/Therapeutic Recreation.
  • Certification: National Certification (CTRS) or ability to test within 6 months.
  • Experience: At least one (1) year working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, with a solid understanding of high-intensity behavioral supports.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, is essential.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to walk, stand, and lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Ability to execute physical intervention techniques with agility.
