Significance is a woman-owned consulting firm serving the federal government. We are known for building trusted relationships within our teams and with our clients and hiring the highest-level experts who implement innovative solutions. We also like to have fun! Our focus on culture has contributed to Significance being named a Washington Business Journal Best Place to Work each of the last seven years.
Are you a safety enthusiast with a knack for keeping things safe and sound? Do you have at least ten years of safety experience and a Bachelor's degree, or five years of experience and a Master's degree? If so, we want you to join our team! As the Occupational Safety and Health Specialist, you'll be the superhero of safety, ensuring that our Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) Headquarters is the safest place on Earth (or at least close to it).
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that safety regulations are followed to the letter, because we don't want any mishaps on your watch!
Promote a robust safety culture that makes everyone feel like they're part of a safety-first family.
Conduct analysis that is so thorough, you'll be able to predict safety issues before they even happen.
Enhance safety programs to ensure mission readiness, because safety is our top priority.
Why Join Us?
You'll be part of a team that values safety above all else.
You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on the safety of our Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) Headquarters.
You'll be the go-to person for all things safety, and who doesn't want to be a safety superhero?
At Significance, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to experience; job-related skill sets; relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for a comprehensive and generous benefits package.
