Evaluates and inspects the condition of returned products from customers. Processes returns based on outcome of evaluation. Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies restocked in establishment by performing the following duties.

Evaluates and inspects the condition of returned products from customers. Processes returns based on outcome of evaluation. Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies restocked in establishment by performing the following duties.
Key Responsibilities
Production: 65%
- Inspects returned products condition to confirm if they are sellable or unsellable.
- Communicates findings, issues and discrepancies to all stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Returns sellable products to inventory locations and scraps unsellable product.
- Confirms that RMAs match the returned product and searches ERP (AS400) to ensure accurate inventory entries.
- Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies to be restocked and posts totals to inventory records.
- Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or unusable items.
- Prepares reports as required (i.e., restock balance, costs).
- Maintains an organized and efficient workspace.
- Tracks returns by customer and reason code showing trends.
- Two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Previous experience using ERP systems or similar software.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to speak and write effectively with internal external customers.
- Ability to read, understand and perform standard procedures and work instructions
- Strong sense of time, organization, and urgency.
- Intermediate math and logic skills required
- Intermediate computer skills and software knowledge required. (Warehouse management systems, e-mail, Microsoft Office
- Travel – typically not required
- Position typically works on site where environmental conditions are stable. May be exposed to higher levels of noise typical in a warehouse environment.
- The position requires an above average amount of physical activity. While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, stretch, climb stairs, and may be required to occasionally lift and/or transport up to 50 pounds.
