Complete Solution Robotics, a subsidiary of RMH Systems, one of the Midwest's largest material handling, packaging, and industrial scale distributors, is seeking an electro-mechanical technician to join our team in Loveland, CO.

This position requires strong mechanical skills, electrical skills, and a troubleshooting mentality. This position will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair systems that combine electrical, mechanical, and electronic components, ensuring smooth operation of automated and robotic equipment. Electro-Mechanical Technicians commonly work in industrial or manufacturing settings, exposed to noise, dust, and sometimes hazardous materials, with protective equipment provided. Tasks often involve standing for long periods, working in confined spaces, and occasionally lifting heavy machinery.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical systems and machinery, including automated and robotic equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to guide assembly, testing, and repair processes.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and fix electrical and mechanical faults and perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
  • Operate test instruments such as electronic voltmeters, and precision measuring tools to inspect parts and verify conformance to specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to troubleshoot complex problems and recommend improvements or upgrades.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of tests, maintenance records, and repairs.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Requirements For The Position

  • Education: An associate degree or postsecondary certificate in electro-mechanical technology, electrical engineering technology, or a related field. 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in robotics or assembly field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using electronic testing tools, mechanical hand tools, soldering, troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and familiarity with CAD software can be advantageous.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, attention to detail, physical stamina, and good communication skills are essential. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team is valued.
  • Experience: Entry-level technicians often start with 1-2 years of experience; mid-level technicians have 3-5 years, while senior roles may require over 5 years and some supervisory experience.
