AnnieMac Home Mortgage is looking to hire a Full-time Affinity Relationship Specialist with the primary responsibility to cultivate and establish business relationships with other organizations that will result in increased residential mortgage loan closings for the Company (“Affinity Relationships”). Affinity Relationship are created without payment of any compensation. As a result, this position is required to build relationships based upon mutual trust and professionalism. To be successful in the role, engagement with third parties through various means of communication such as email, social media, phone calls, virtual meetings, and live events. Must successfully demonstrate the value of the Company’s products and services and persuade other entities to become advocates on behalf of the Company.
As an Affinity Relationship Specialist, the secondary responsibility is to identify prospective new employees for the Company and refer those opportunities to Company management. This position will not recruit on behalf of the Company or otherwise discuss employment terms with any third party.
Expertise in the residential real estate market and Company mortgage products and services will be essential to the achievement of minimum performance goals and expanding the Company's presence in target markets.
Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Branch Manager or Sales Management, the Affinity Relationship Specialist is responsible for, but not limited to, the following job responsibilities:

Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Branch Manager or Sales Management, the Affinity Relationship Specialist is responsible for, but not limited to, the following job responsibilities:
- Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand residential mortgage sales in target markets. This includes prospecting and building a network of business partners who may act as Affinity Relationships such as trade unions, non-profit organizations, residential real estate developers, employee relocation businesses, financial planners, real estate brokerages, etc.
- Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential Affinity Relationships. Manage Affinity Relationship partner expectations, ensure exceptional customer service, ensure engagement of Company sales staff as needed, address inquiries of all parties, and act as a trusted advisor to both Affinity Relationship partners and company sales staff.
- Company Products and Services: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Company products and services, including those products and services designated by Sales management as differentiating the Company from its competitors including, without limitation, Cash2Keys and Don’t Just Bid. Win. Be prepared, always, to engage and educate third parties concerning the value of Company products and services.
- Social Media Strategy & Execution: Maintain a consistent and professional online presence by posting across business-specific platforms on a weekly basis (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook). Share content focused on Company products and services, local market trends, and spotlight Affinity Relationship partners. Track monthly engagement growth and demonstrate measurable increases in reach, follower count, or lead conversions via digital platforms.
- Events, Seminars & Industry Presence: Host or co-host a minimum of 1 educational event per month (in-person or virtual) with a prospective Affinity Relationship highlighting Company products and services. Collaborate with Company mortgage loan originators on at least 100% of all hosted events. At the discretion of Sales management, attend one local or regional industry event per quarter and submit post-event recap including contacts made and follow-up plan.
- Market Analysis and Strategy: Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting the mortgage industry. Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify areas for business growth and develop effective sales strategies.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all third-party interactions and activities related to Affinity Partners using the Company’s CRM systems or other Company-designated tools. Prepare reports and presentations for management, highlighting the performance of job duties and market insights. Deliver a monthly performance report to your direct supervisor including Affinity Relationship growth, event participation, number of monthly contacts, social media engagement metrics, number of loan application opportunities, number of opportunities resulting in closed transactions. Provide a written summary of market insights to your direct supervisor on a quarterly basis.
- Sales and Target Metrics: Meet or exceed Company-established minimum performance standards by effectively promoting Company products and services and introducing Company mortgage loan originators to Affinity Relationship partners.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain a strong understanding of mortgage regulations, compliance requirements, and internal policies. Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards in all business activities, while minimizing risk exposure.
- Complete all Company mandatory trainings within the required timelines.
