We're seeking a Director of Restaurant Operations to specifically oversee our Piatti Brand. This position will be based out of our flagship location and home office in Mill Valley, CA. While you'd be working under Palisades Hospitality, your employment entity will be Piatti. Locations are throughout CA with one location in Seattle, WA and two in San Antonio, TX. This is a hybrid position with a mix of remote work, 2 days in the home office and time weekly at locations. Ability to travel frequently throughout CA and to Seattle is required. Candidates must have experience overseeing multi-unit restaurant operations.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF RESTAURANT OPERATIONS?
The Director, Restaurant Operations is a key position in aligning and moving the company forward as a new path is forged, built on a foundation of a people focused culture where quality and creativity is the roadmap. This candidate will be joining the company during a pivotal time. The Director, Restaurant Operations will be charged with pushing the limits of experiential luxury as a change maker, working collaboratively with all functional departments. This person will have the ability to spark creativity amongst the team and ignite new ideas across existing restaurants as well as future projects, balanced with the leadership and business acumen to drive results through quality standards and expectations. Success will be measured by the financial results of this department, the uncompromising loyalty of our guests, and the retention and satisfaction of our employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Support and embody a company culture in line with the mission, vision, and values of Palisades Hospitality.
· In accordance with company vision and direction, administer and oversee all aspects of the PHG hotel food & beverage.
· Work collaboratively with the other members of the senior Operations team to create, edit and/or advance useful tools, initiatives, and strategies for the field.
· Develop strategies based in a culture of creativity, for identifying new and unique opportunities for revenue generation within a range of concepts from quick serve to fine dining.
· Develop and execute any new company initiative rollouts to your team, with the support of relevant functional department heads.
· Maintain a quality culture by setting clear expectations for restaurant General Managers and Chefs and ensuring company standards are adhered to
· Ensure the guest dining experience is remarkable in all aspects.
· Work collaboratively across functional departments of the company including Accounting + Finance, Marketing, and People + Culture in fostering desired business results through both the guest and employee experience.
· Lead the oversight of portfolio-wide annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, ongoing marketing, and operating planning.
· Key point of contact with Ownership groups and brand partners.
· Pro-actively identify deficiencies and progress in your teams' performance and address in a timely manner.
· Ensure that restaurant operations are in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and fully aligned with franchise operating agreements.
