What You’ll Do At OhioMHAS

  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans
  • Complete Initial Diagnostic Assessment
  • Coordinate Assessments, Admissions, and Evaluations
  • Teach and Develop Client's Individual Living Skills
  • Provide Individual Counseling
  • Serve as an Active Member of the Treatment Team
  • Documentation
  • Submit Reimbursement
  • Attend Training Sessions
  • Coordinate Referrals and Conduct Follow-ups

This is an hourly position covered by the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of #10 on the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are Monday - Friday, 1st Shift 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. This position is located within our Mahoning County CSN in Youngstown, Ohio.

Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.

Additional Salary / Appointment Information

Pay increase of 3% increase July 1, 2026.

Longevity supplement after 5 years of service

Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II (LCDC II) by Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board.

  • Or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
  • Or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
  • Or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT) by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
  • Or Licensed Registered Nurse with practice specialty certificate in Mental Health or Psychiatric Nursing as issued by Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • Or Licensed Registered Nurse by Ohio Board of Nursing plus completion of Masters degree in Psychology or other mental health related field.
  • Or Licensed Registered Nurse by Ohio Board of Nursing plus completion of Masters degree in Nursing with a Mental Health of Psychiatric Nursing concentrate.
