Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle management of civil construction projects including underground utilities, grading, and concrete
- Develop and maintain detailed schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts
- Oversee field activities, coordinating with superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Review and ensure constructability of plans, drawings, and submittals
- Prepare and track RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and project reports
- Conduct pre-construction meetings, job walks, and progress meetings with stakeholders
- Ensure jobsite safety compliance and monitor quality control procedures
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving field or schedule issues
- Manage project closeout including punch list completion, as-built drawings, and warranty documentation
- 5+ years of experience managing civil construction or utility infrastructure projects
- Deep knowledge of demolition, grading, underground utilities, concrete, and asphalt scopes
- Strong ability to read plans, schedules, and project specifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and project management platforms (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Understanding of public works contracts and compliance documentation
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Competitive salary range: $80,000-$130,000+ depending on experience
