Hardscapes Superintendent

Duties

Eastern Excavating Co. is seeking a full time hardscapes superintendent. The company offers a family atmosphere and has been well established in the Savannah, GA area for 35+ years. Our self-performed services include clearing, demo, grading, asphalt, concrete, underground utilities, and hardscapes for commercial and industrial projects. Salary is negotiable based on experience. As Hardscapes Superintendent you will be responsible for project layout for various crews of our company. A more detailed, but not all-inclusive list of duties is listed below:

• Establish and shoot elevations as needed
• Study plans for layout and knowing the project
• Interpret and implement plans/specs
• Operate skid steer, mini-ex
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies
• Promote a positive company image in the community
  
  

Qualifications

• Prefer hardscapes experience such as paver installation, concrete work, block & brick work
• Good math and reasoning skills
• Must have strong communication skills
• Ability to adapt and react to changing construction schedules
• Ability to have a flexible work schedule; overtime and weekends if necessary
• High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred
  
  

Work Environment

• Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions. This position performs strenuous physical activity
  
  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year, based on experience
