Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage nursing staff to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
- Coordinate patient care activities and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize treatment plans.
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care strategies as necessary to improve results.
- Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff, promoting professional development.
- Manage staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in patient care management and medication administration.
