As a team member of our call center, you will be accountable for achieving individual, department and company blood collection goals to meet the blood supply needs of Rhode Island. You must be positive and professional and be able to work effectively with a variety of customers to secure blood donation appointments. You must be enthusiastic, goal-oriented and self-motivated and be able to negotiate in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
A high school diploma or equivalency

The proposed hourly wage for this postion is $17.82.

- Performs daily telephone recruitment of past and potential blood donors--is accountable for achieving individual, department and company blood collection goals through efficient donor scheduling.
- Provides donor customer service—answers questions, comments and inquires maintaining excellent public relations through telephone, verbal and written communications. Educates donors concerning donating and eligibility criteria.
- Maintains accurate and updated donor data, ensures correct documentation, quality assurance, quality control, document accuracy and completeness, and follows procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Markets company-sponsored events to donors--giveaways, raffles, sponsor and community blood drives.
A high school diploma or equivalency
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills are required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Prior sales phone experience with above average close rates is preferred.
- Must be punctual, committed, and willing to work flexible hours including weekends.
- Must be goal-oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, a good listener, well organized, and have the ability to work independently.
- Ideal candidate would have prior experience working in a call center environment or setting.
