Academic Req: Required-The Talent Sourcing Director must have a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Certifications: Preferred-HR and/or recruiting certifications highly desired.
Work Experience: Required-A candidate for this position must have at least 5 years of hands-on working experience in a recruiting position, preferably working as a recruiter in a fast-paced and highly competitive business. The candidate must have proven and successful experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes consisting of sourcing, screening, on-boarding, and credentialing.
A suitable candidate will additionally demonstrate vast knowledge of recruiting database systems as well as knowledge of rewards programs inclusive of offer generation. As a bonus the candidate will have a reputation for being a process-driver and thought leader, leveraging efficiencies in the use of technologies, workflows, and process.

Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:
- Communication Skills: Communication skills are also imperative for this position, both in written and in verbal form. As the recruiter for BV, he/she must be able to convey information and instructions in a clear and concise manner, which will determine the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruiting process. Communication skills are also important in enabling smooth cross-functional communications as well as facilitating smooth communications with candidates and talents in the market, being able to clearly articulate the organization’s messages and bring out a positive image of BV.
- Leadership/People Skills: The Talent Sourcing Director must also have exceptional leadership skills, demonstrating an ability to influence senior leadership and to communicate effectively with a cross-functional team in an aligned direction. He/she must be able to build meaningful and lasting relationships with others naturally, which will enable him/her to relate with candidates and talents in the field easily, allowing for easier acquisition and retention of valuable personnel in the organization.
- Computer Skills: A suitable candidate must have superior computer skills and demonstrate proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, all necessary for the creation of visually and verbally engaging reports for executives and key stakeholders. Candidates with experience in complex ATS platforms and Workday are highly desired.
- Strategy/Tactics: The Talent Sourcing Director leads the development and execution of comprehensive active recruiting strategies that will guarantee that the organization attracts and hires top-tier talent in the business. The Director examines hiring trends in anticipation of the organization’s response to labor market changes, for example, shortages and surpluses of available labor. The Director endeavors to develop strategies and processes that utilize both traditional and modern/current/innovative sources to cover all possible talent pools available to the organization.
- Onboarding: Oversees the full employee onboarding process, including oversight and documentation of all necessary training, verification and maintenance of credentials with proactive tracking for renewals, issuance of badges, assistance in benefits enrollment, and any other administrative or operational tasks affiliated with preparedness for employee to begin work ensuring seamless hand off to supervisor.
- Personnel Management: Manages personnel operations, including upkeep of employee files, salary administration/analysis, conducting and analyzing employee surveys, Workday System management for HR processes and ensuring organizational accuracy through precise administrative practices.
- Duties unrelated to talent sourcing and required by job: When asked and when time permits, assist the medical clinic with scheduling appointments, assist with filing of resident paperwork and intermittently audit records in resident system of record. Specific training for these additional duties will be provided.
- The Talent Sourcing Director also performs similar functions as he/she deems fit for the proper execution of his or her duties, and duties as delegated by the President of BV.
- Conduct training via remote and in person methods on updates to current policies or procedures, updates to the HRIS System, processing of candidates, sourcing techniques and other relevant topics as they arise.
- Monitoring of the background check system to ensure that the screenings processes are producing results in a timely manner. Provides recommendations to the hiring managers and applicants on any required documentation needed to complete the background screening.
- Provides quarterly counseling / training to provide the hiring managers with feedback on their job performance and set goals for the upcoming quarter.
- Valid driver’s license
- Travel up to 20% of the time
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which includes defined business hours Monday through Friday with the potential to support critical projects or initiatives on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, as needed.
