Business Development Representative (Entry or Junior)

Position Overview

Coalescence is seeking a Business Development Representative to be a catalyst in the growth of our sales team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with cold outreach and engaging with executive decision-makers. Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem is preferred, and some prior sales exposure is a plus. This role is responsible for tailoring messaging based on industry and role, and the successful candidate will need to collaborate with both the marketing and sales teams, with the opportunity to grow into a Sales Executive role. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to build a sales career in a high-growth industry!

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities to help fuel Account Executives' pipeline via cold calling, personalized emails, and other creative prospecting ideas
• Engage with executive decision-makers and tailor messaging to specific industries and roles
• Document all data and notes thoroughly in the CRM (Salesforce)
• Work collaboratively with the marketing and sales teams to align on strategies and initiatives
• Fulfill Management by Objectives (MBOs) as set by leadership
• Proactive problem-solving skills
  
  
  

Requirements

• Confident in communicating with IT decision-makers and C-level executives
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance targets
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  
  
  

PREFERENCES

• Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem or similar CRM tools is a plus
• Prior exposure in a sales-related role
