We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Engineer to oversee and coordinate engineering and technical projects related to robotic railcar washing facilities and their installation at industrial sites. The ideal candidate will manage all phases of project planning and execution, guaranteeing safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Engineer to oversee and coordinate engineering and technical projects related to robotic railcar washing facilities and their installation at industrial sites. The ideal candidate will manage all phases of project planning and execution, guaranteeing safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- 3D Modeling in PTC Creo Parametric
- Developing Process Instrumentation Diagrams and Process Flow Diagrams
- Plan, organize, and oversee engineering projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and construction.
- Offer technical support and guidance during the entire project lifecycle
- Track project progress, assess risks, and implement solutions.
- Prepare project documentation, such as schedules, reports, and technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
- Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to guarantee alignment and satisfaction.
- Perform quality and installation inspections and troubleshoot project problems.
- Work from Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends contingent upon project requirements.
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- The position is primarily office-based in Davenport, with occasional site visits accounting for up to 10% of the role.
- Skilled in operating hand tools and basic mechanical equipment.
- Able to work outdoors in extreme weather (hot or cold).
- Candidates must successfully complete a physical exam, drug screening, background check, and review of their driving record.
- Basic understanding of civil, electrical, mechanical, structural, and software engineering.
