KBTX Media operates the CBS and CW affiliates in Bryan-College Station, Texas, serving an 18-county area known as the Brazos Valley. Job Summary/Description:

KBTX Media is seeking an organized, enthusiastic professional to join our team as a Marketing & Community Outreach Coordinator. This role is central to strengthening those connections — leading community partnerships, supporting local nonprofits, and bringing attention to area events that affect our audience.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan and execute the KBTX Marketing & Promotional Calendar.
  • Manage the annual promotional/creative services budget with fiscal accountability.
  • Oversee sponsored and station in-kind initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local non-profits and community partners.
  • Manage the public service announcement database and ensure FCC compliance.
  • Assist with daily program details related to ComScore and Nielsen.
  • Serve as lead project coordinator for major KBTX community events, including:
  • Food for Families Food Drive
  • Classroom Champions
  • Summer Hunger Food Drive
  • Annual Volunteer Awards
  • Other station/community outreach initiatives

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3–5 years of related experience (marketing, outreach, or office management).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; WideOrbit Traffic knowledge a plus.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision while thriving in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, collaborate, and build relationships.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or social media engagement tools a plus.
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
