POS is seeking Accountant candidates who want to join our team located in Waterloo, IA.
At POS, the Accountant has a multi-functional role within the Accounting department and networks across all departments and plants. In addition, the Accountant is given exposure to a wide range of processes to support financial and operational needs allowing for development of their skills and technical accounting knowledge. Real-world application of complex financial scenarios as well as opportunity for advancement are provided with this role.

Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)
- Execute month-end close responsibilities including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and financial analysis
- Maintain and enhance the inventory costing system
- Account for fixed assets and intangibles
- Assist in annual budget preparation
- Support the preparation and filing of federal and state income tax returns
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business operational needs
- Other tasks as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience preferred
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- CPA certification preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office products
