Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the installation of advanced HVAC systems for custom residential projects.
- Mentor and train apprentices and junior technicians, fostering skill development.
- Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and system commissioning.
- Design and install complex ductwork, piping, and electrical connections.
- Conduct detailed quality control inspections to ensure compliance with all standards.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets for maximum efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry technologies and best practices, implementing innovative solutions.
- Build strong client, supplier, and subcontractor relationships through clear communication.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety and environmental regulations.
- Communicate with customers about installations and how to use newly installed equipment.
- High school diploma or GED required; advanced technical training preferred.
- 7-10+ years of extensive HVAC installation experience, including high-complexity projects.
- Master-level knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques.
- Skilled with advanced tools, diagnostic equipment, HVAC software, and project management tools.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Physically able to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and handle varying weather.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- EPA certification required; NATE or other advanced certifications highly preferred.
