The Lead Product Analyst at Optum Serve is a pivotal leadership position, dedicated to steering quality assurance initiatives and mentoring team members throughout the software delivery lifecycle. This role is instrumental in shaping and executing testing strategies, ensuring that our solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with user needs. By promoting a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration, the Lead Product Analyst champions best practices in testing. Additionally, this role harnesses AI tools to boost efficiency and inform decision-making, driving innovation and delivering impactful digital solutions that advance Optum Serve's mission.

Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance efforts across multiple Agile feature teams, with a focus on test strategy, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and guide team members in best practices for QA testing, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Act as a subject matter expert in quality assurance methodologies, testing practices, and defect prevention strategies.
- Translate business requirements into clear, testable technical specifications and ensure alignment across teams.
- Design and implement complex test cases, procedures, and scripts to validate functionality and performance.
- Promote and enforce quality standards throughout the software delivery lifecycle, including Test-Driven Development and Agile practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet user needs and quality expectations.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance testing efficiency, identify patterns, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Participate and at times lead discovery sessions, backlog refinements, and design reviews to ensure testability and quality are embedded early in the development process.
- Support on-call rotations through troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for testing processes, configurations, and system changes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve QA tools, frameworks, and workflows to drive innovation and scalability.
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 4+ years of experience in a business analyst role or Quality engineer role
- 3+ years of experience using MS SQL, SQL query language to write simple and complex queries
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing and/or software documentation
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office programs
- 1+ years of experience leveraging AI tools in the software development lifecycle to improve quality and efficiency
- United states citizenship is required for this position
- Ability to obtain and maintain a suitability or determination of eligibility for a confidential/ secret or top-secret security clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Capability to work independently as well as on a team in both a lead and support role and prioritize work while meeting critical deadlines
- Experience working as a liaison between IT professionals and operational stakeholders
