We are currently seeking an Engineering Intern to join our Kentucky and Indiana offices.

What You’ll Do:
Interns at PRIME provide college students with an opportunity to gain real-world experience in their specific field of study. Interns work alongside world-class professionals in a fast-paced, professional setting, providing invaluable experience applying the knowledge and skills learned through education in a business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design of various projects.
- Perform analyses and apply problem solving techniques to develop creative, innovative solutions.
- Perform a variety of complicated tasks and critical thinking.
- Take part in reviewing, understanding, and applying local, state and federal codes and standards related to the design and construction of project facilities.
- Learn and apply market specific guidelines, the practices and policies of the associated local discipline, divisions, and firm.
- Assist field staff, General Contractors, Architects, and Engineers to ensure compliance with specifications and design during construction.
- Students pursuing a BS degree from an ABET accredited engineering program.
- Willingness to learn about engineering projects for local, state and federal clients involving municipal and industrial markets.
- Exposure to systems and software to include AutoCAD, ArcGIS, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), MicroStation, InRoads, KYPipe, SWMM, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM, EPANET, WaterCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
