Position Summary

The position is responsible for performing a variety of activities in support of compliance program initiatives, with a focus on auditing and monitoring. Provide program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Three years of experience in mental health or addiction services
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Competent computer skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Belief in the mission, vision and values of Rosecrance

Responsibilities

  • Work hours prescribed by leadership. Some variation in scheduled hours as well as travel between sites and regions may be required to meet company needs.
  • Promotes and embraces organization and corporate compliance policies and procedures
  • Expert on rules and regulations pertinent to Rosecrance services, such as SUPR 2060, Rule 132, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and others.
  • Coordination of compliance activities such as auditing and analysis
  • Create and Present Reports (annual, quarterly, monthly and as requested)
  • Conduct audits and investigations per schedule and as needed
  • Tracks compliance activity
  • Provide consultation to Rosecrance staff on various topics including, rules, regulations, policies, and ethics.
  • Assist leaders in licensing and accreditation requirements (i.e. TJC).
  • Serve as a member of the Corporate Compliance team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
  • Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the Code of Conduct and with the framework of the law.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
  • Serve as a role model for other staff, patients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance
  • Assume other related responsibilities as delegated and assigned by the President/CEO, Sr. VP & General Counsel, or the Director of Compliance & Medical Records.

Schedule

  • Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm

Work Location: Rosecrance Mulford Office - Rockford, IL

Compensation & Rewards

    • Base Pay: Starting at $46,508.80/year (pay is based on education, experience, and credentials)
