Description
As Loving's Human Resources Generalist you will be the operational backbone of people operations. You will manage end-to-end recruiting touchpoints, deliver organized and engaging onboarding, support benefits and leave administration, assist with payroll, maintain accurate HR records, and help run learning and engagement programs. You will balance employee-facing service with process ownership, partnering closely with leaders to keep our teams informed, supported, and productive. This hybrid role requires regular in-office collaboration three days per week to ensure strong cross-functional partnerships.

What Success Looks Like
- Manage recruiting activities from job posting to offer, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and prepare offer documentation that moves hiring forward efficiently
- Run onboarding and new hire orientation so employees are productive and welcomed from day one, including system access and paperwork completion
- Act as a trusted resource for employees on benefits, PTO, policies, and HR processes with timely, practical answers
- Support employee relations intake by documenting issues, identifying next steps, gathering information, and escalating to HR leadership when appropriate
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll by verifying hours, reconciling exceptions, and coordinating with our payroll vendor to ensure accurate pay runs
- Maintain HRIS and personnel files with precision to meet legal, audit, and internal retention standards
- Track leaves of absence, FMLA, and accommodation requests, and communicate expectations to employees and managers throughout the process
- Help coordinate training and development programs, manage rostering, and track completion and outcome
- Produce routine HR reports and dashboards to surface trends and support decision making across the business

What Sets You Apart
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
- Two to four years of HR experience in a generalist, coordinator, or HR support role; experience in construction, landscaping, manufacturing, or logistics is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a talent for building trust and partnering effectively with managers and employees
- Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver on deadlines
- Practical experience supporting payroll, benefits administration, or leave processes is preferred
- Comfortable learning new systems and driving process improvements that reduce manual work
- Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred to support our diverse field teams and strengthen employee communications
