Disney’s Direct to Consumer Data team is seeking a Senior Data Analyst who will be an outstanding addition to the Product & Tech Analytics team. The team partners with other teams across the business to turn data into information, information into insights and insights into key business decisions that steer the strategic direction of the company. This position will design innovative analytical approaches to test hypotheses, extract actionable insights by identifying patterns in structured and unstructured data, and develop recommendations to drive business performance. You will be instrumental in leading the use of analytics as a critical value driver across our organization.

What You'll Do


  • Partner with product teams to shape meaningful questions, define success metrics, and guide decision-making throughout the product development lifecycle, from early ideation to post-launch evaluation.
  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate product changes, validate hypotheses, and provide clear, data-backed recommendations.
  • Take an iterative, insight-driven approach: starting with a hypothesis, refining it through data exploration, and using findings to inform future product decisions and opportunities.
  • Explore user behavior and cohort trends to uncover actionable insights, identify friction points, and support personalization and engagement strategies.
  • Support both product and advertising initiatives by analyzing how users interact with features and ad experiences, helping to balance business goals with a seamless, user-first experience.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and self-serve tools that empower teams to monitor key metrics, track feature performance, and make data-informed decisions at scale.
  • Use SQL, Python or R, and tools like Tableau or Looker to work with large, complex datasets, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing data to uncover meaningful patterns.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners in product, engineering, and design to ensure insights are aligned with team goals and integrated into the decision-making process.
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling stories that resonate with a wide range of audiences, from technical stakeholders to executive leadership, helping to drive alignment and action.


What To Bring


  • Unbridled curiosity, high intellectual and analytical horsepower, and a passionate pursuit of analytics driven insights and business outcomes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as an analyst in a data and analytics domain with excellent SQL, Python, or R skills for complex querying, advanced analysis, performance optimization, and working with data at scale
  • Demonstrated data visualization skills with tools like Tableau, Looker, QlikView, MicroStrategy, Plotly, etc.
  • Experience delivering end-to-end analytics projects: taking them from vague requirements, to an impactful story, accessible across diverse audiences, and ultimately to a clear business outcome
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with teammates, business partners, and technical colleagues

The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles is $114,900 - $154,100 per year and in New York is $120,300 - $161,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
