The Quality Assurance Specialist is the point person responsible for ensuring our quality programs are effective, followed, and thorough. They will constantly interact with all levels of the organization to make sure our processes adhere to strict quality standards and that our products meet the highest level of visual scrutiny. This is a hands-on role that will require constant learning, benchmarking, and development. Our environment is fast-paced and successful team members must manage multiple projects and tasks while maintaining high standards for reporting daily success measurements.

A Day in the Life of a Quality Assurance Specialist:
- Plan, execute, and oversee all visual inspection and testing for quality and conformance to specifications
- Utilize equipment to produce analytical analysis of the chemical composition of materials and take appropriate action to ensure the equipment is properly calibrated for daily use
- Ensure accuracy in testing procedures and data recording
- Interpret data from tests and analysis to identify trends and develop proactive solutions
- Thoroughly maintain testing records and develop reporting systems to keep leadership informed of any non-conformance
- Develop and perform predictive failure analysis to ensure the long-term quality of precious metals products
- Proactively collaborate with other company quality professionals to ensure compliance with all product standards
- Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards
- Manage all testing plans and procedures and develop additional testing to meet industry standards
- Benchmark the quality systems of other producers of high-quality precious metals products and implement proven methods that will improve our manufacturing processes
- Use statistical methods to monitor and control processes
- Perform periodic internal audits (daily, weekly, monthly) to ensure the effectiveness of all quality assurance programs
- Identify training needs and take action to ensure compliance with all quality standards
- Communication: Communicates well both verbally and in writing, creates accurate and punctual reports, delivers presentations, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills

Qualifications
Education:
- High School or GED required , degree in related field preferred
- 3-5 years of QA experience required
- Knowledge of Quality Standards such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing strongly preferred.
- Experience with process documentation and record keeping required
- Experience in or knowledge of working with manufacturing processes, production, and administration.
- Medium to advanced skills using MS office Suite required
