Job Overview

Teknikor Contracting is hiring Industrial Millwrights to join our elite traveling industrial services team. In this field-based role, you'll be on the front lines of complex industrial installations across the U.S., handling everything from machine alignment and rigging to collaborative system integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform precision installation and alignment of industrial machinery and rotating equipment
• Use laser alignment tools and dial indicators for high-tolerance shaft and coupling alignment
• Assist with rigging, hoisting, and safe placement of heavy equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical layout drawings
• Coordinate closely with electricians, controls techs, and pipefitters during system installs
• Ensure jobsite safety and compliance with OSHA and company protocols
• Provide leadership and guidance to support crews or temp labor when required
• Track materials, project progress, and maintain communication with project managers
  
  

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in industrial millwrighting or mechanical trades
• Strong skills in mechanical assembly, precision alignment (laser/dial), and light rigging
• Experience with basic metal fabrication and welding (guards, brackets, motor bases)
• Basic knowledge of electrical or plumbing systems is a plus
• Comfortable mentoring or leading a small team
• Valid driver's license
• OSHA 30 certification preferred

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Typical Projects Run: 11-18 Consecutive Days On-Site
• 12-Hour Shifts with Overtime Potential
• Off Days Between Assignments for Rest & Travel

• Home base: Fall River, MA
• Travel Required: Domestic U.S. projects with extended on-site stays. Per diem and all travel expenses provided.
